Voice and Performance Coach
Sarah Chalmers

Sarah Chalmers (she/her) is an Australian voice, dialect and performance coach with over 25 years’ experience working across theatre, screen and radio. She holds three degrees in performance and voice, including a Master of Fine Arts (Voice) from NIDA, and has coached actors at all stages of their careers, from emerging artists to established professionals.
Sarah specialises in voice for classical and contemporary text, accent and dialect work, resonance and projection, and sustainable vocal practice. Her coaching approach integrates rigorous vocal technique with embodied and somatic methods, supporting performers to work with clarity, confidence and presence.
She regularly works as a production voice coach on theatre productions and runs workshops for companies, training institutions and arts organisations. Sarah values collaborative working practices and is committed to creating environments where performers feel supported to explore, take risks and deepen their craft.
